Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is an Romanian TV presenter and actress. She is best known for her role as the main character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control, and Rush. She was the sole child of Romanian actors Valentin Platareu, Alexandra began her showbiz career from a young age. When she turned 16, Alexandra had landed leading roles in several shows on television. Following her critically-acclaimed character in the TV film Der Tunnel, Alexandra went on to play other noteworthy roles such as Adolf Hitler's secretary, Traudljunge, in Downfall. The film won an Oscar and was a critical as well as commercial great success. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film featuring this divas. Through the years, Alexandra has been involved in a variety of important international and national productions. This includes the British biographical feature Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon, amongst others. In addition, she was part of both The Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
